Hello Abhishek,

The cutoff rank for OBC at IISc through JEE Advanced is 6000.

The rank to secure a seat for OBC at IISER through JEE advanced should be within 10,000.

Hello Surbhi, hope you have done well in NEET 2019. You cannot upload your NEET rank right now because it's still not out. Once the result is out, IISc Bangalore will open their portal within 2-3days of NEET result to upload your NEET rank. You can easily upload your rank by simply login to their portal with your email id and password you have given during registration.

ankitshrajki97 Student Expert 31st May, 2019

Hello Abhishek!

If your rank is under 10000 then you are eligible to get admission in IISER and IISC  and if you are reserved candidate then your category rank should be under 10000.

For predicting the rank you can use our career 360 jee advanced rank predictor

Please tell me whether there are engineering college which dont take fee like nit or iiit and is good in placements.

shvetha jayaraj 31st May, 2019
Hello aspirant,
Colleges which have low fees in comparison to others are.

1.Jadhavpur University (West Bengal ) One of the best and cheapest college . Placements are also excellent here . Fees here is very very low affordable to everyone . NIRF rankings 13 .

2.Zakir Hussain College of Engineering (Aligarh Muslim University) NIRF rankings 35 , one of the best & cheapest college for engineering .

3.Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi) Very good college for engineering with very affordable fees structure .

4.College of Engineering , Guindy (Chennai .) Very old , reputable and good college with excellent placements statistics.

5.Indian Institute of Space Science and technology . ( Thiruvananthapuram) . You just have to pay admission fees once which is around 60000 I think. After that if you score above 7.5 cgpa (for general category , other categories have other cutoff) , then you will not have to pay fees for next semester . This college is fully funded by ISRO. Also some of the students are absorbed by ISRO in placements.

At present I call recall only these.

Out of thisJadavapur University is the best college with less fees.

Best wishes!!!

What are qualifications required to study in indian institute of science?

Yamini Gaur 30th May, 2019

Hello Siddanth,

The procedure for admission is simple. First, you need to appear in the gate exam and check the IISc's last year cutoff marks according to your score. Then go to the portal for admission to the IISc. Provide your details. And after that you have to participate in the COAP i.e. Common Offer Application Portal, which is done jointly by some IITs and IISc, like CCMT for NITS. After that, if you are selected they will give you the notification of the offer in their gateway to come to IISc on the given date and do your admission

Can U tell me about the qualifications marks of gate for the entrance of IISc Bangalore

Soumodeep Rana 28th May, 2019

Hello Kranthi kumar

It depends on the branch.

Gate Score is important than Rank in case of IISc. Every department releases there Gate Score based cut offs. It’s good to be in 95 percentile if you want to come to IISc, having said that I have not seen any student who was below rank 50 in campus.

So, better try to get a rank in top 100 to get IISc Bangalore.

So, in terms of score i would suggest to score more than 95 percentile atleast.

Hope that helps!
