I got 99.612 percentile in January her main .I am oc category. Will l get seat in iisc?

VIVEK KUMAR 22nd Apr, 2019
Hello,

Since you have scored 99.612 percentile in your JEE mains, your general category rank would lie around 3880. IISC cut off is very high. For IISC admissions you need to score around 295 marks in JEE Main in general category according to the last year cut off trends.
And in your case it seems very difficult to get admission into IISC.

Hope it helps.

Why we are not add the Indian institute of science, bengaluru to iit colleges or best institutes?

Bikash Student Expert 21st Apr, 2019

It is the best institute of India, infact it is above the IITs and hence it is completely out of the league. The only thing with Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore is that when it comes to technical courses, it does not offer undergraduate courses in engineering, it only has post graduation.

How to entr into iisc banglore ug i have completed 10+2 should i take kvpy exam if then what is the procedure and how should i approach that

Arnab Ghosh 21st Apr, 2019
Hi Akhilesh,
The institute has decided to not burden students with an additional IISC Entrance Test. Admission will be using merit list of national level entrance exams KVPY,JEE (Main and Advanced), and NEET.

So, you have to take one of those exams & clear the exam & after that get the admission in IISC Bangalore.
IISC Bangalore provides 4years UG Program which is researched based program.

  • Eligiblity Criteria :

  • Candidate must have completed class 10+2 or equivalent exam in 2018 or is going to complete it in 2019.

  • Candidates who have studied Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science, etc., in addition to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are also eligible to apply.

  • Minimum marks that candidate should have secured is first class (60%) in qualifying exam. For SC / ST candidates, this relaxed to pass class.

I scored 68 percentile in JEE mains and I belong to c

Billa Nikhil reddy 21st Apr, 2019
Hello.
With that score you can't get admission at iisc banglore.

You have one more chance to get admission at iisc banglore that is through advanced.

Try to score good in keeping advanced, atleast 60%  so that you may get admission at iisc banglore.

Else give kvpy  next time.

Thank you.

MTech (CS) from which of these would help me most to get phd from IIT/IISc - university of hyderabad or NIT dur/jal/sil/ham or IIIT jabal

Naga 21st Apr, 2019

IIsc is best for doing research Rather than IIT.

There are some iits which will provide good facilities for research like IIT Hyderabad, etc.

If you get admission in IISC it's good, oterwise prefer IIT colleges will hierarchy of research.

All the best

Thank you
