The length of Arc AC of a circle is 1/6th of the circumference of the circle.B is the midpoint of the Arc AC.

Mrudul Vasant Naik 5th Oct, 2018

R=2 cm

Circumference= 2*3.14*2 = 12.56

l(AC)~ 2 cm

l(AB)~ 1 cm

Since the angle between arc AC is 60 degree, the angle between arc AB is 30 degree.

Now seg AB creates a triangle with two radii of 2 cm with an angle of 30 degree between them.

the area of this triangle can be calculated by the formule

A= 0.5* side1 * side 2 * sin(angle between them)

therefore, A= 0.5* 2 * 2 * sin30

A= 1 cm

now, apply heron's formula to calculate the remaining side length.

I would like to join IISc Bangalore for bsc physics after completing 12th.so how should i apply for the admission?

Bhumika Rani 4th Nov, 2018

H Shreya

If you have a plan to pursue BS(its B.S not Bsc)  from IISC bangalore you must be clear with the process that is,there are three ways by which you can get it.

1.KVPY(Kishor Vagyanik Protsahan Yojna first phase in class 11 2nd in class 12).

2.IIT-Jee(Advance)

3.IIT-Jee(Mains)

You can prepare for these exams and try to score good rank so that you can get IISc.

All the best.

Can i apply for iisc with the proper score in jee main april sesson? If yes, then when? Please tell me .

Shivam Gautam 31st Oct, 2018
Hello Dear

Yeah definitely you can able to apply for IISc Bangalore with the proper rank of JEE mains. You can able to apply for IISc only when the counselling of all NITs and IISc will start after the releasing of JEE Mains  result. Overall if you predict the marks through which you can able to take the admission in IISc is then it will be like for General Category then you should have to score approx 300 marks for OBC (240) marks and for other categories like ST/SC then it will be like approx 100 marks.
