For joining iisc we should write JEE advanced along with JEE main?

 yes, indian institute  of science bangalore will have admissions based on both jee main and jee advance ranks.but the cut off score will be very high.

you have to give your best on these exams, atleast having 200+ will be the safest side for the admission.

How much i have to score in NEET to get into iisc ?

Hey Buvana,

IISC cut off for Neet is pretty high and it varies from year to year. Usually ranks cutoff varies around upto AIR 250- 300 for general category so you'll have to score accordingly.

how hard is it to get a seat for m.des at IDC or iisc?

Admission in Master of Design course in IDC, IIT bombay is done on the basis of Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED). you will have to Pass the CEED exam and qualify the IDC admission test and interview. http://www.idc.iitb.ac.in/admissions/index.html

Hey Sonia,
If you want to pursue research in IISc Bangalore then you need to score more than percentage cutoff in 12th boards. Then you have to clear the aptitude exams to get admission there or you can clear KVPY exam and interview to get direct admission.

NO. They changed the pattern and now they are taking admission based on your JEE advanced ranks. You have to register seperately for its councellling process and admission rank list wil be given. check out for cutoffs in the website.

Yes. You can get admission in IISC or IISER provided that you can cruise through the route of enrollment, which is simple
A) Either you clear KVPY exam and interview with requisite marks
B) Or you can appear for the IISER aptitude test after 12th provided that you have 12th percentage greater than the cutoff and with PCM/PCB as your subject in any board.

How to get admission in IISc Bangalore for bsc by iit jee?

You can get admission in IISc for BSc through JEE Mains. Eligibility is the candidate belonging to general category must have scored at least 60% marks in JEE Mains or JEE Advance. 

The cutoff Ranks for shortlisted candidates in different categories in JEE Main stream is as follows :-

  • 250(General)
  • 5000(OBC-NCL)
  • 5000(SC)
  • 40000(ST)

please eleborate your query  as application processes and dates differs from UG to PG courses that is for UG it is starting from 1st week of feb and will go on till last week of april however for pg its closing on by end of march 2019

in general basic guidelines are :

  • he application form will be filled and submitted through online mode only.
  • IISc 2019 application form will be available from the first week of February 2019.
  • Candidates have to register through Email ID and create a new user account to start the online application process.
  • Candidates are required to upload the scanned images of photograph, candidate’s signature, parent/guardian’s signature and caste certificate (if required).
  • Fill all the details in the application carefully as per the instructions given.
  • Candidates must take printout of the application form further use.
Application Fee:
  • he application form will be filled and submitted through online mode only.
  • IISc 2019 application form will be available from the first week of February 2019.
  • Candidates have to register through Email ID and create a new user account to start the online application process.
