• SCB channel
• KVPY channel

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Science stram in 2019 or 2020.Each year cut off is declared by the officials and candidates who have scored the given cut off marks will be eligible to get admission.Admission is solely based on merit in 10+2 any other result cannot be considered.

For admission in IISC is done through

If you are worried about score, then first thing you have to do is to calm down. Score won't come if you get anxious.

1. If you have prescribed book which is needed to prepare for entrance exam then that much will do.
2. Start from easy chapters. Solve examples and chapter end questions. there is solution to everything.
3. Solve and look for solution. check if it is correct. if you get wrong then solve it again next day morning or evening. Keep on progressing.
4. Go from easy to hard and wrong to right.

There is no shortcut to success. It is only hardwork to get it. Practice as much as you can. Take help of friends and youtube lectures if necessary.

the cut-off for IISER test is not a constant. It depends on the performance of the applied students which changes every year. The difficulty is usually about the JEE mains level, with a few advanced type questions. Results are out within 2-3 days of the test, and if you are selected,your name, the allotted IISER would be listed. No info about cut-off marks / marks you scored/ percentile etc are shown. My advice would be to score maximum in your strength, and make no negatives. Bio section is usually simple, but if you dont know an answer, don't guess it.

see when we start a bachelor course after 10+2 we just start from the initial step, it is not only you who do not have the depth knowledge, no one knows in depth about any career line, when starts a new journey of education. see astronomy is related with physics and mathematics, it involves the studies of space, gravitational energy, phenomena occurs in the atmosphere etc. so if you are really interested in this things than you should go for it.

Alumni are spread in many countries like America, Japan who can help you to find jobs, also due to its college name you can easily go for hight studies for abroad and can get there job easily. Hello the marks may vary on several factors depending on the percentage of students applying for the exam Students who have passed 10+2 level with science stream in 2018 or 2019 are eligible to apply for admissions and appear for IAT 2019. However, they will be considered for admissions to the degree programmes only if they obtain the cut-off marks specified for their board. Please see the cut-off criteria here. Students applying through SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) which will be conducted at various centres across the country. IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2019 will be conducted in a fully computer-based test mode. CBSE cutoff is 92% .The listed out cutoff percentage is for the students who belong to general category, 5% relaxation is given to the students who belong to OBC, and generally, 50%-55% is the cut off for the students who belong to SC/ST or PWD category.
