Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram
Hello student,
By your estimated marks in JEE advanced as 180 it is hard but it may possibly to get a seat in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Trivandrum for the course Aerospace engineering in the OBC category.the chance may be high if you secure a rank below 1500 with your estimated score.
Considering the IIST Trivandrum's cutoff ranks, opening and closing ranks and marks for Aerospace engineering it is impossible to get a seat for that course by your estimated marks as 120 in JEE advanced 2021. For 2021 these cutoff marks may increase so if you want to join that course, you must get a rank below 1500.
Considering your expected marks as 135-140 in JEE advanced, you may get a seat for some courses from these IITs: IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Mandi, IIT Indore, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Patna, IIT Roorkee etc. But checking the cutoff ranks for the IIST Trivandrum it is impossible to get a seat.
Hello aspirant,
With no second thought, IIIT Kotayyam with CSE is a better and best option for you as per its ratings, reviews, placements and academics.
Hope it helps!
Hi Aspirant!
According to previous year cutoff of IIST the closing rank under SC category of Aerospace Engineering is 139 and for Electronics and Commnuncation Engineering with specialisation in Avionics is 176 but your rank is above that hence it would be impossible for you to get the admission in IIST.
I hope it helps.

Hello,
To be eligible for admission into btech aerospace engineering at iist trivandrum, you need to score atleast 18% marks in JEE advanced in aggregate and atleast 5% marks in each subject of PCM.
The cuttoff will be minimum for the college to get there.
Thankyou.
Greetings!
If we see the numbers from the previous years, it would be difficult for you to get into the college as the maximum waiting list 30 gets accepted but I'll suggest you to wait as the numbers changes every year and you may get the seat. All the best.
I hope this was helpful. Thank you!
