how much should one get in advance to get admission in IIST

Mahima Shukla 20th Dec, 2019

Hii,

If you want to get admission in IIST then you must score above average in Advanced and if you belong to a general category then do keep in mind that you'll have to get at least t 20% marks in aggregate and at least 5% marks in each subject. It also depends upon the number of students giving this exam and the cut-off, therefore scoring above-average marks will give you a better chance of getting into this institute.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!!

in NISER after completiting their the study course can we called as a scientist and we can be placed as a scientist in ISRO, NASA,IIST

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 19th Dec, 2019
Hello,

You can't be called a scentieat after compeltion of any course from NISER, you can be called as researcher and that too if you do Ph.D from there and you can possibly get a jobs in BARC afterwards but not in ISRO,NASA etc.Getting jobs in ISRO,NASA etc require you to crack exams which they conduct or you can apply when they will offer vacancy. What job you may get depends on factors like what course you have studied in your undergraduate or master's.

I hope this helps.

Apart from this a candidate must have passed 10+2 with atleast 75% aggregate (candidate belonging to general category) and 65% aggregate (candidate belonging to SC/ST/PwD) with Mathematics, Physics, chemistry and any language from a recognised board or university.
