Harsha Gurijala Student Expert 22nd Aug, 2019
Dear aspirant,
Yeah for aerospace engineering IIST is the best option to learn new things. It has the best faculty to teach, best lab equipment, good environment for studies, best class rooms. In my point of view IIST is the best option than IIT for studying aerospace engineering course. Hope it helps you.
Thank you.

Hello Rajan Kumar.

Sorry but I could not understand your question properly. But what I understood from your question is that you are asking whether you can get a seat in IIST due to you JEE Mains marks and rank.

Sorry but you cannor get a seat in IIST on your JEE Mains basis. But you can get admission on the basis of your JEE Advance result.

Hope it helps you.

To join iist jee main mark is enough, and 12th mark % Should be considered?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Aug, 2019

Hello dear student!

Greetings!

IIST B.Tech admission 2019 was on the basis of JEE Advanced 2019 exam. So class 12th marks doesn't play a big role , you just need to get at least  75 % in class 12th to be eligible .

Candidates can refer to the cutoff of IIST B.Tech admission for past five years as given below in the link :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/iist-btech-cutoff.

thankyou
