Do let us know if you have any other queries.

Hey Aspirant
Placements : The placements in this college are different from another college. In this college, till 2017 all the students who have CGPA above or equal to 7.5 were placed in ISRO. For the M.Tech students, this college placement cell is active but not much. The toppers of each branch get chance to MS in MIT. According to last year data, there were 140 students in the final year, out of them 104 were placed in ISRO as scientists. In the 3rd year, all student gets the inter under the centres of ISRO. The faculty in this college always motivate students to do something innovative.
Infrastructure : The infrastructure is good. All the labs are there whichever required for courses. There are many labs like manufacturing lab, physics lab, communication lab, Avionics lab, chemistry lab, high-performance computer lab and many more. The Wi-Fi facility is provided but active in the specific place and specific time. The Wi-Fi is active in library, academic building and hostels from 6 are to 8 am on working days (Mon-Fri). On Saturday and Sunday full day Wi-Fi is provided.
24*7 medical facilities are provided and connected to the city hospital. The college has own ambulance. The basketball court and cricket practice net are there inside the campus. Out on campus, there are football and cricket ground. The classrooms and labs are awesome. All labs are air-conditioned, and some of the classrooms have AC. The mess food is average, and there is a cafeteria with all food items. The hostel rooms are far better than any of IIT colleges. I did not face any infrastructure related issues till now.
Faculty : Qualified faculty are there. Some of them have done PhD from great colleges, and some are ISRO scientists. Due to less number of student (60 per class), the coordination between student and faculty is amazing. They are always ready to help each student who reaches for them. They clear all doubts of students and still motivate the students to do something innovative.
Fees in IIST is RS. 61,400 and fees in IIT'S is RS. 1,17,000 per semester , fees in IIT'S are different for different states and they change every year .
Hello aspirant,
If you have taken admission in any college and want to pursue IIST for under graduation, then you would need to take a dropout.
The selection in B.Tech and Dual (B.Tech. + M.S./M.Tech.) will be done through the score obtained in JEE Advanced and counseling.
So you need to prepare for JEE Advanced in order to get admission in IIST.
Best of luck.

Well i am providing you with a link below which will help you to compare both the colleges based on different parameters like ranking, courses, placements, faculty and more - Https://www.careers360.com/compare-colleges Do visit the website for a clear and better idea before making a choice. Hope this helps.
Hi Nitin
The concept of EWS quota has been described and started this year only.
That is why predicting the cutoff for this category is really difficult and is most likely to be wrong.
The trends in JEE change every year so you must wait till the end of the counseling to get to know any absolute cutoff.
Hope this helps.
