Greetings from Careers360. No you can't get admitted to the IIST only upon the JEE Scores. You must also qualify for the JEE Advanced exam with a decent score so as to get shortlisted for IIST admission. Good luck :)

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR UG COURSES IN IIST.

Only Indian citizens are eligible to take admission in UG courses offered at IIST. Candidates meet IIST admission eligibility criteria if they have secured minimum 75% aggregate marks in their Class 12 Board

Don't listen to wrong news that it takes jee mains marks for admission.

IIST gives admission based on Jee Advance marks.

There is the cut off marks for eligibility criteria. Also it gives the opening and closing ranks for various categories of the past years.

Hey Dhiraj,

There are more than one exam from which students take admission in IIST. For JEE adv you have to secure very good rank i mean to say top 100-200 rank should be secured so that you will have chances.
