Hello,

IIT Bombay has decided to introduce the quota for EWS in general category in two phases. They are planning to provide 10% quota to EWS whereas SP jain and NITIE offers reservations which are provided by the government.

There is no such concession given in fees for EWS people

In order to get admission in any of NIT or IIT through the category will take more verification time . In your case the admission committee check's the validity of the every certificate that has been submitted .so you need to be careful while going through the admission process .

Dear aspirant, I think you have some confusion over the name. IIT MUMBAI and Mumbai University both are different.

For MUMBAI UNIVERSITY , admission for B.Tech course is on the basis of MH-CET exam.

For IIT MUMBAI , admission is on the basis of score obtained in JEE ADVANCED exam.

The fee for a course depend upon the college you are taking admission in.
Now a days IITs are charging around 90k per semester for any branch.Similarly top private engineering colleges like bits pilani charges about 1.6 lakh per semester. Other government funded institute have different charge.

For SJMSOM,Is sectional cutoff of cat score there for consideration, for a call, or they would call by the overall cutoff.I have asked this because some sources are saying that you would get a call if you clear the overall cutoff.

Hello Aspirant,

As far as I know along with clearing the overall cutoff you should also have to clear the sectional cutoff of every as well. Sectional cut off evey section is lower than the overall cutoff but it has to cleared if you want to get admission in SJMSOM,
