SAKSHI KULSHRESHTHA 28th Jan, 2020

Admission to IIT Delhi happens through JEE Advanced. For appearing in JEE Advanced, you need to qualify JEE Mains first, i.e. you should be in the top 2.5 lakh students. For getting a seat in CSE in IIT Delhi, you should be one of the top rankers in the exam.

Hii

Even if you come to know about the marks, it won't be helpful.  Because,  marks vs rank for category depends on many factors. The maximum marks is not defined in case of jee advanced. It may be anything,  even advanced can be of 100 marks or even 1000 marks.

x+1/x is equal to 3 so x to the power4 +1/xto the power 4 is what

Afrin Hossain 24th Jan, 2020

Hello ,

The answer will be 47 .

As x+1/x= 3

Squaring both sides ;

x²+1/x² + 2.x.(1/x)= 9

x²+1/x²=9-2=7

Now again squaring it we get;

x+1/x+2.x².(1/x²)=49

x+1/x= 49-2 = 47.

So the required answer is 47 .
