Sir, I have got GATE score of 373 in 2017 GATE in mechanical stream can i get into any IIT or NIT

Hello Sashikumar Sir,

Yes, you can get admissions on the basis of your GATE 2017 marks as it stands for 3 years.

But in 373 GATE score it will be quite difficult considering General category as this time i don't think a GATE score of below 700 can get into

See the marks u have scored is not enough for to bag a seat in the good colleges like NITs and IITs for pursuing he higher studies in the field of ur interest even under ur category. U should be going for other state colleges and private institutions

Hello Sakthi 

I think you're talking about JEE Mains and not board examination.

With 75.664 Percentile, your probable rank is very less than 2.5Lac, so if you belong to general category only, your chances to qualify for JEE Advanced are almost no.

So, without JEE Advanced you cannot get any

Dear aspirant,
  • If you fall under general category then you are not eligible for Appearing jee mains exam or Jee advance exam
Because your percentage ie 380/600=0.633
0.633*100=63.3% which is less than 75% .
  • But if you fall under schedule caste then there there is a concession ie. You should
