Both of these are very good government institutes for engineering courses. However, I would recommend you to give first preference to IIT among these two if you are eligible for both as IIT is little bit more popular than another one.

              You will have to study physics because the proportion of 11th physics is more as compared to 12th physics. You will have to understand and prepare it well. Because the paper is totally concept based thats it. So study well . All the subjects whether physics , chemistry

Hello aspirant.

Don't be discouraged. You still have another year. You need to study hard and try your best. If you study at least 4 hours a day, veiw previous questions and solve materials of coaching Institutes, you can easily crack jee and get an iit.

For getting into IIT you should have Good Rank in JEE Advance. Apply for JEE Advance get the rank, scoring more than 40% of the max marks can give you more rank since fewer people are competing with you. I assume that you have good percentile in CBSE/State Board.
