For preparatory course you have to report to your nearby or state IIT. This preparatory course is oy for SC/ST category students.The Preparatory Courses is a one year residential programmes and as the name suggests prepares the students to be eligible for the B.Tech or Dual Degree

I am sorry to tell you that for this season they are done with selection process for admisson of academic session 2018-21. List can be seen here (https://erp.iitkgp.ac.in/IITKGPApplications/index).
