The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an all-India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. Students who join M.Tech at IITs, NITs and IISc based on GATE score are eligible for Government of India fellowship.

You can't get IIT with jee main rank but u will definitely get a nit check previous years opening and closing ranks
