Yes, you can but if you are an IIT Aspirant, you should only have a one year gap between passing 12th and joining B.Sc. and applying and aceing for JEE Advanced. In case of JEE Mains, unless you have some categorical advanatage, you can atmost have a 2 year difference

You can go to IIT's/NIT's by qualifying IIT JAM exam. So year after BSc you can obviously join IIT's/NIT's. For MTech you need to have a MSc , after MSc you can pursue MTech by qualifying GATE and you can get admitted in different uni's including IIT's.
