Indian Institute of Technology
Hello Student,
Getting an IIT depends on various factors . Below i I am providing all the factors and explaining them.
You can also check the IIT's cut-off along with the branch and category. The link is given below.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-cutoff-for-iits/amp
But you can improve your score by hard work. I m guessing that you are giving JEE Advance in 2021 , so its enough time for you to study. Make a proper time time table , have proper notes . Now just study and get good marks.
hope it helps
Once Round 6 of Counselling Process is over, IIT Roorkee will personally mail each and every new admit with further instructions regarding Mode of Fee Payment and Registration. Most probably this year their will be Online Registration, Induction and Verification Process besides as usual the Fee Payment by NET Banking, Debit Card or E-Challan at nearest Bank Branch. Keep patient and wait for Round 6 to end.
Secondly as far as deduction in fee is considered, I believe unless you are SC/ST you will have to pay the full fees now, however it will be adjusted next semester onwards through your respective merit cum mean/scholarship scheme.
Hello.,
As there are various courses which can be studied with M.SC and it depends on your course where you will get job opportunities. But with MSC you have high scope for getting good career oriented opportunities.
For eg. If you have done MSC in mathematics you have scope in getting jobs from public sector organization like DRDO and also in ISRO. You can also apply for the teaching position which will have good salary package at well reputed schools.
Some of the job opportunities you might get are Market research., Manufacturing development., Research development if you take science amd chemistry as subject course.
Hope this helps you out. Good luck

Hello,
Once you enter the IIT campus and complete all the registration formalities and start your academics , you will receive a notification regarding your fee payment on your institute profile roughly within 15–20 days .
Then you have to upload the scanned pdf file of some documents in your institute profile which includes :
1. Your income certificate ( with digital signature / stamp of respective authority )
2. An income affidavit duly signed by a registered advocate / notary officer .
Format may be different for different IIT’s .
Once these uploaded certificates are verified , you will be notified on the institute profile that you are eligible for partial/full tution fee waiver.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
Spot Round is only organized by JOSAA/ CSAB to fill unfilled seats at NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. IITs take part in only the First six or seven main rounds of JOSAA Counselling. For more information about the counselling procedure and dates do follow the link below
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa/amp
Hello aspirant,
What happens in most of the colleges is that the amount paid at time of josaa counseling will be automatically deducted from your 1st semester fees and you will be asked to pay only the remaining fees. You don't need to pay the full fees. You just have to pay the remaining amount of fees after deducting 35000 from the whole fees.

Hi Sourabh, before getting into iit if you are focusing on the coding skills, I would suggest start with C, then ,C++, python etc. It depends what sort of branch you are aiming for. This is beneficial whether you are a cse,IT or and ECE student. In order to command English, start with reading small articles from magazines and try out books and novels. Enusre whenever you encounter new word, you find its meaning and learn it too. There are Courses available on udemy, Coursera in order to develop new skills.
All the best.
