Indian Institute of Technology
Hi, Hope you are doing well!
To get admission in IIT, you must have completed 12th standard with minimum aggregate of 75% marks from a recognized board. In case of SC/ST category candidate, there is 5% marks relaxation.
You must have to appear, qualify and get 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main examination to be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination. By qualifying and securing good rank in JEE Advanced examination, you can get admission in IIT.

Hi Pratham,
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is going to commence the counselling process for admission into 111 Institution from tomorrow i.e. October 6. After the registration of JoSAA counselling it is very important to make a wise and the best preference order so that we xould get the best college possible. It is always recommend to make the preference order by putting the top colleges and top branches at the first priority. And as we go down the level and ranking of colleges and branch goes down proportionately. Also it shoybe noted here carefully that while making the preference order or filling choices you should fill branches bases on your passion and interest of study. Following this you would be able to make the best preference order. To put colleges based on your rank you can take the help of college predictor tool by clicking on the following link: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hello Aspirant,
According to the preparatory rank mentioned by you in the question you have good chances of getting the branches like Ceramic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and so on in the enlisted colleges :-
And some more. Note that the above list is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
You can check out previous year's JEE-Advanced cut-off for IITs kindly refer to the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Dear student, First of all congratulations that your have given JEE advance exam. If your CRL rank is not valid means you are not qualified in general category. As JEE advanced score and ranks are only applicable for iits, and jee mains score are only applicable for nits, iiits, and gftis and other institutions. So, if you want to take admission in Nits then you can get only on your jee mains rank, or your JEE mains sc rank, not with JEE advance sc category rank. Check out our JEE mains college predictor tool to get an appropriate idea of the colleges or nits that you can get on the basis of your JEE mains rank :- https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer Also check out our JEE advanced college predictor tool to get an appropriate idea of the iits that you can get on the basis of your JEE advanced rank :- https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-advanced-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Best Of luck!!
Hi Aspirant,
Since you have not qualified in general category your CRL rank is not generated, and that's why you won't get admission in any of the top NITs or IIITs. Although you might get admission in North Eastern NITs, other lower ranked NITs and GFTIs. So, I would suggest you to use college predictor to get better view of all the options available to you:
