Indian Institute of Technology
Unfortunately you have to choose between the two. Either you forfeit your seat at ECE NIT Patna and sit for CSAB, as per CSAB Rules and Regulations you cannot keep any seat at hold in JOSAA. Perhaps, I believe you should now freeze NIT Patna, it is an excellent and old technical institute with good placements as far as ECE is concerned and good faculty. Comapnies like Amazon, Qualcomm, Reliance Jio, Microsoft, Tata Communications, Samsung are regular recruiters at ECE NIT Patna and you can always study in first year and opt for a branch change to CSE. Besides this ECE is a very structured branch, and you can always learn new skills and master new technologies involving Machine Learning and Software.

Hello,
It is difficult to say which is better as both have a huge name and importance associated with it. Most importantly I feel like it is your choice and expectation. Try to choose the one which provides you with all things you imagined. Another thing I would suggest is that if you worked very hard and were very determined to get into a IIT then I would say choose IIT Goa. Obviously new IITs do face a few issues but if you want the IIT tag then you need to adjust. But then again don't just go for the IIT tag if you are not really sure because BITs does offer you many facilities which the newer IIT might not be able to provide .
Hope you got your answer.
Good luck.
Hello Aspirant,
Congratulation for your rank.
According to your rank, there is no chance to get seat in NITS, IITS. According to previous year cutoff for getting admission in NITs rank should be less than 1500 in EWS quota, and your rank in greater than 1500 so it is very difficult to find NITs, IITs.
Don't worry there are some other colleges that might help you
If you want to know the colleges that you may get, you can use our college predictor tool, it will help you:

Hello Kiritvankadi
All 3 of them are excellent colleges with very good ratings and infrastructure and faclilities but the difference in fees is very great for IIT Ropar the fees is Rs 8.60 lakh for 4 years, for IIST the fees is Rs 1.8 lakh for 4 years but if you keep scoring above 8 SGPA you don't have to pay any academic fees ,for BITS Pilani the fees is Rs 16.5 lakh for 4 years and in terms of placement the median salary for IIT Ropar is Rs 11.20 lakh per annum, for IIST it is 9.15 lakh per annum and for BITS it is Rs 13 lakh per annum. So you choose a college according to the stream you will like to do I will also advise you to compare the colleges using the college compare and check out by yourself i will provide the link for that i will even provide the link for all 3 colleges so you can check them out in details which will help you even more

Hello
After giving James Thomas scholarship IIT Roorkee doesn't give free education. If you are eligible for the James Thomas scholarship after admitted to IIT Roorkee you will get 25000 per month during your education. But in this you have to obtain minimum 8.0 CGPA in every year.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
