Hello Student,
Surely the student has a good chance of getting a seat in NITs. But to join in IITs ,JEE main score is not applicable. You have to write another exam JEE Advanced through which you can apply to IITs. But for JEE Advanced, you have to first qualify for it with the required JEE Main score commonly known as "Cut off".You can get other branches like chemical engineering, metallurgy in good NITs.Since you haven't metioned your home state, i suggest you to use the college predictor and find out the colleges you can apply to

IIT Delhi has taken various field and combined it under the electrical department.
This means that you have a good range of field to choose from for specialization. IIT Delhi provides a definite specialization in power and automation. The previous batches has been performing excellently so it still holds it name that many of the students are being accepted in IIMs and colleges abroad for consulting assignments and further study.
There is quite a good scope and IIT Delhi is a decent choice.
Hope it helps you.
Good luck.
Hello Aspirant,
See it is little bit difficult to predict exact marks in JEE-Advance for admission in IITs because total marks of JEE-Advance (paper 1+2) keeps changing year to year, but yes ranks can be predicted which are calculated according to the marks scored by candidates in the examination. As you have asked for SC category so the SC candidate should try to maintain his/her rank near about 500-1500 then he can get into good IITs as per previous year's cut-offs which you can check out from the link given below :-

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various so any confirmation cannot be given.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hello aspirant,
In IIT Bombay or any other IITs across the country, over 250 companies visit every year for the placements and almost 90 percent of the students get placed. The average gross salary provided is about 14.32 Lakhs Per annum with salaries as high as 45 LPA provided by Microsoft. Companies such as Microsoft, Samsung, Google, Qualcomm, Strategy & Carin, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Adobe, TATA, Morgan Stanley, Accenture, ONGC etc. visit every year. IIT Bombay also gets international offers from different countries like USA, Japan, UAE, Singapore, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.
Hope this helps you.
It is difficult to predict the exact marks because the total marks is not same for JEE Advanced, it changes every year so there is no unique answer to this. You need to minimum 25-30% of total marks to have decent chances of getting seat.In 2019 the cut off to qualify JEE Advanced for Open-PWD was 17.5% of aggregate and minimum 5% marks in individual subject this is going to change in 2020 depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam and number of seats available.
You must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12th. It is not possible for polytechnic students to appear for JEE Main and Advanced.
If you eager to study B. Tech, a lateral entry to B. Tech. second year is possible for pass out diploma students. But a limited amount of seats are there with a limited number of colleges.
Now it's your choice. All the best.
