Indian Institute of Technology
yes, you can go for it. Going for NIT and IIT won't be possible but some other colleges do accept it and you can go for the course of four years.
All The Best and chose a great college!
Hi Chinmay,
First of all I want to mention that for getting into B.Arch into any of the IITs you have to qualify JEE Advance along with AAT Exam.
Now, coming on to the preferred IIT in B.Arch stream I would probably rate IIT KHARAGPUR first, then IIT Roorkee and finally IIT BHU based on their placements and on their respective NIRF 2020 Rankings.
I hope that you have now got a fair idea of the colleges, but at the same time you also have to work very hard for getting into these IITs. Wish you all the best for your Preparations!!
Hi, according to your question it seems something similar. If I talk about top NIT's like NIT Trichy, MNNIT Allahabad or VNIT Nagpur then the CSE branch of these institutes gives a tough competition to CSE branch students IIT's also. Now coming on the IIT, Kharagpur's EEE branch so let me tell you EEE highest placement package from EEE branch is approx 1 Croreand the average package is approx 5 Lakhs. So overall you just see IIT Kharagpur is an IIT afterall so it will always be better than any of the NIT's in any branch.
Good Luck.

All the best!
Hello aspirant,
There's no wrong in any branch. Everything depends on the hard work of the student, be you're in the branch of biotechnology or biochemical engineering. And, most importantly, there's nothing like getting your branch upgraded and branch cutoffs in order to change your branch. It's changing your branch under the circumstances that you've no interest or you feel like you can't take up with this branch anymore or to be very honest, the study prospects of the particular branch is not up to your mark. If you want to change your branch, make sure you've scored more than 9 CGPA in the first year itself in both 1st and 2nd semesters and for that, you need to work harder. Getting a 9 CGPA or more than that is not that easy that you think from the surface. Check which branch is the most popular in study prospects as well as in placements, for example if it's CSE, then go for it. But at the end, you need to learn and develop your skills accordingly that can make you eligible to seat in the placements. Not only scoring more marks is important, but also applying your knowledge according to the given situation and practical experience will help you the most, no matter you're in any branch. At the end, hard work matters most. And every branch, be it mechanical, civil, CSE or ECE, is good at its own place and can't be compared with each other.
Hope, it helps you.
Hello Aspirant,
Both these IITs, goa and bhilai are one of the newest established IIT in India. Both the IITs have accreditation given AAA. Also, being new IITs, they are mentored or given support by other IITs .
While IIT Bhilai has collaborations with IIT Kanpur, ARM, CDAC, etc and IIT goa has collaborations with CSIR, some institution from France, Institute of Systems and computer engineering, Portugal.
Also, both the IITs have different sort of clubs like robotics club, dance, sports, developers, quiz, drama, etc.
As far as location point of view is concerned, you would have to choose, since IIT goa is in Goa while IIT Bhilai is in chattisgarh States.
For more information and details about IIT Bhilai , you can either visit their website or you can see the article given below for reviews,
