Dear Aspirat ,
Both are the prestigious intitues in their own feild ,
IIT are been the national prestige of all time ,
Whether you have to make desicion on the basis of college distance
If the IIT is far away from your home and you are not able to accomodate in the new environment then you must go with ICT
But the tag of IIT is always a great achievement so better try for IIT

Yeah since you have got IIT KGP in Mock Round 2 there are high chances of you getting the same branch and institute in Josaa Round 1. There are hardly any new registrations post Round 2 and most students dont change the order of their preferences.
All the best for Josaa Round 1 Results.
Hi,
I would like to inform you that you are eligible in appearing for the JEE MAIN exam and also for JEE Advanced, if you qualify for MAIN. There is no age limit as such. So you can go for the exam. For getting admissions into IITs, you need to first clear JEE MAIN which is already over on 6th September and then you need to clear your JEE Advanced as well to get admission in IIT.
Hope this will solve your query.
Hello Himanshu,
JEE advanced 2020 will be conducted on September 17
Please go through the article cutoff previous years https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/iits-cutoff-for-b-tech-computer-science-and-engineering
Acoording to previous cutoff For CSE, you need a rank <300 for IIT K, and < 600 for IIT KGP.
The higher officials will consider the below factors for determining the cutoff of JEE advanced 2020

Hello,
Considering 2020 rankings of Engineering colleges and your desired colleges:
Rank are based on so many important factors. If you have chances of getting a top branch like computer science then, you can prefer this order. The rankings are relaible.
According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your expected rank would be near about 5.3 Lacs and on the basis of this rank it is impossible to get any of the NIT or IIIT but yes on the basis of your category and this percentile you might have chance to sit in JEE-Advance and if you score decent marks with decent rank in JEE-Advance then you can get into IITs which stands above any of the NITs or IIITs.
Note that above are totally based on previous year's cut-offs and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
You can predict the colleges using JEE-Main College Predictor :-

Hii there,
Dear candidate hope you are doing well your question is quite confusing if you meant computer science engineering program by c.sc then I would like to suggest you that IIT BHU is one of the best it is and one of the oldest one but IIIT Hyderabad is a new IIT and it is progressing well. You can compare the cutoff of both IIT in CSE branch for IIT BHU it is around 700 for general category while for IIT Hyderabad it is also around 616 for general rank.
Also the fee structure for admission in IIT BHU is less than that in IIT Hyderabad. The median salary for BHU college is quite higher than that of HYDERABAD, a nd and Hyderabad is ranked higher in comparison to BHU.
