I have not a PWD certificate but I considered PWD in jee applications . I qualified jee main and advanced . my top choice in jossa was iit Delhi . I got it "but from PWD quota" there are only freeze option for choosing . now how can I able to round second FROM OBC-NCL quota only , without PWD quota?

Vishnu deo jha 17th Oct, 2020

Hello!

No offense ,don't be panic just freeze the first counsilling of jossa and wait for the second jossa round .in that you select a proper college according to your results and criteria of reservation .till do not be panic just have some time and allow yourself to sit for the next round ,as there are seven rounds of josaa there, which can help you to choose best college according to your preference but fill it properly from next time .

Till best of luck for counselling

Stay  tuned !,stay blessed

Thanks a lot!

JEE main crl rank-48735 OBC-NCL rank -12922 OBC-NCL PWD rank - 26 JEE adv. crl rank - 20519 OBC-NCL rank - 4676 OBC-NCL PWD rank - 6 my top ( first) choice in jossa was iit Delhi now I got my first choice , but from PWD quota , I havent PWD certi.... there are only freeze option on jossa .

Vishnu deo jha 17th Oct, 2020

Hello future!

Seeing your stats of different JEE mains and advance results based on category can give you a very good seat in top iit but if you are not a PWD you can't apply in that manner as PWD is simply a person with disabilities ,if you have that type of problem you can simply make a proper certificate for it otherwise PWD can't be given to everyone without proper certificate so my suggestion will be as simple that you just go for your obc criteria results if you are facing difficulties in making certificates

Till all the best !

Stay tuned ,stay happy

i got iit madras civil in mock seat allocation round 2 but now in round 1 im getting Guwahati. probability that i will get iit madras ?

Abhishek Roy 17th Oct, 2020

Yes, do accept and float the present seat at IIT Guwahati in Josaa. There are many changes in preference order of students after the Second Mock round, hence the allotment at IITG. Most probably by Round 3 or 4, you should get Civil IIT Madras, so be prepared.

All the Best.

iit delhi mechanical engineering is tough or not. it has very large syllabus or not. will it has good placement after 4 years?

Ankur Dubey Student Expert 17th Oct, 2020

Hello

Iit delhi is good for mechanical engineering.  Syllabus is little bit  large but proper preparation and perfect book will help you out. Its not tough,if you are interested in it then it become easy for you .

Placement in iit delhi for mechanical engineering is best. Almost 95%+ student get placed. And average salary package offered is around 15 to 20 lakh per annum which is too good for beginner.

Top companies visiting are Microsoft, LG,Samsung, Google,IBM.... and almost every student get internship in their interest field..

Good Luck..

How many overall (and marks per subject wise) marks reduired for a sc category person to seek admission in any IIT

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 7th Sep, 2020

Hey!

There are two exams, a candidate needs to qualify to get admission in any of the IITs. And for sc candidates, minminum 5% of total score is needed in each section of exam (mathematics, chemistry and physics). And total of 17% (minimum) is needed to clear the exam. But don't limit yourself to 17% as it will just help you in qualifying both exams, but not to get seat in any of IIT or NITs. So try at least to score 40-45% of total marks and secure rank about less than 4000 to get the best and most preferred seats in IITs or NITs.

Hope I answered your query

Thank you

IIT bhilai data science and aritificial intelligence and IIIT lucknow IT which is best

Harsh Chandravanshi 17th Oct, 2020

Hi Aspirant!

According to placement drive both the colleges are same as their placement statistics are somewhat same.

IIIT Lucknow:

Highest salary offered - 28 LPA

Average salary offered - 11.37 LPA

IIT BHILAI:

Highest salary offered - 20 LPA

Average salary offered - 11+ LPA

But the sad part is that both the colleges not able to secure rank under NIRF.Although if we took infrastructure as consideraion IIIT Lucnow is better as it is opened before IIT Bhilai.

Hence my recommendation will be IIIT LUCKNOW but the end choice is your according to your priorities.

I hope it helps.

For more information on both the colleges you can follow up Career360's article:

Is iit madras civil engineering good

Aditya kumar singh 17th Oct, 2020
Yes ,
The college is good in terms of faculty , infrastructure and placements. Generally the placements are higher in computer science and it branches and top companies like amazon ,  Microsoft,  uber visit the campus for placements.
The placements are also decent in civil engineering and it ranges from 5.25 lakhs to 17.5 lakhs. And if you  maintained a good cgpa  then there are chances that you might get a good placement.
