iit delhi electrical engineering power and automation vs NSUT cse . which I should choose . please exclude interest point.

arpan00002 25th Oct, 2020

Hi aspirant,

You asked for the comparison between cse in nsit vs electrical engg power & automation in iit delhi.

Look, IIT Delhi is the best one as a college. You will get to study from top of the class professors, meet and work with some of the smartest people in the country, and have about one & half times better facilities and opportunities compared to NSIT.

But, when the comparison is between  the streams, I will say cse is much better than the other one. For cse, the nsit is famous as it is the best stream here.

So, my suggestion is go for nsit cse.

Which is better CSE at IIITH or Mech Engg at IIT Bombay

Ayush 14th Oct, 2020

Hello ,

Hope you are doing well.

As per your question, both of the college are good but it depends on you in which branch you are interested in. And accordingly you can choose college but as you asked question so I may compare both the colleges as per your given branch in terms of placements and figure out which one would be better for you to go with. So

1) IIITH:-

They have good infrastructure where as per placement they have highest CTC package of 46LPA and average package is around 21LPA which is amazing.

2) IIT bombay:-

They have good infrastructure as well the name indicates while they have highest CTC package of 60.28LPA and an average package of 20 LPA.

so as per CSE trends you may go with IIITH as they have good placement to as companies like Microsoft, google, came there to recruit candidates. But if you have your interest in mechanical branch then no doubt you may go with IIT bombay too as both of the colleges have their reputation and standards.

Hope this information helps you out. Thank you.

I got Computer science & Engg in Pondicherry Engg College in Mock seat Allot-1 & Geological Technology in IIT Roorkee. What are the possibilities of getting in real Jossa counselling. My obc-ncl ranking in jee adv is 4491.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 14th Oct, 2020
Hello,
It is difficult to predict the in which institute you may get seat because it depends on the cut off and the cut off depends on factors like number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc and it changes every year. Considering the previous year cut off and your rank it is difficult to get seat in core branches like EEE, ECE, Mechanical etc. You have chances of getting seat in the following IITs
  • IIT, Kharagpur: Exploration Geo Physics, Applied Geology, Chemistry (all are integrated MS courses)
  • IIT, Jodhpur: Bio Engineering
  • IIT, Roorkee: Chemistry
You can use our JEE advanced college predictor to know the colleges in which you may get seat

if i got 50 marks in jee advanced and iam an bc candidate can i get a seat in iit college

Vishal Tiwari Student Expert 4th Sep, 2020
Dear Aspirant
I would like to tell you that even though you belong to backward class, it is very difficult for you to get a seat in government college like IIT with 50 marks in jee advanced unless you have any sub categories. So I would like to tell you that you need to work little harder to get a seat in IIT.
Good luck for your future.
Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

iit delhi electrical engineering power and automation vs NSUT cse in terms of placement and in future which placement will increase. does this course in iit delhi is hard?

Shreya sharma 14th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Hope you're doing well.

NSUT and IIT Delhi are two of the most renowned and prestigious institutions for technology in our country. Hoowever, power and Automation,  and, computer sciences are somewhat different. However, more job opportunities are seen in computer science fields with new upcoming trends in technology field. Some of the differences between these two institutions and courses :

  • IIT Delhi has a higher NIRF ranking (2) against 76 rank of NSUT.
  • according to the students reviews, 4.7 rating is given to iit delhi and 4.3 to nsut.
  • Fees is relatively lower at NSUT.
  • Placements : IIT Delhi doesn't disclose the packages offered to students as a part of its policy. At NSUT, placement rate is really high. 7.75 LPA was tha average package last year with highest package of 1.25 crores per annum. So, placements at both of these colleges are really good.

i have chance in dual degree cse in iit bhubhaneshwar and I have a chance in nit warangal CSE what do i choose?

rehan18alam Student Expert 14th Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Among the options you have mentioned, I would suggest go with the bachelor degree in the NIT Warangal. NIT Warangal is one of the top colleges among the NITs. You will also have advantages for the btech as the btech in computer science is better than mtech.

Moreover, if you further wants to do a masters outside of India, BTech would be a good option as some colleges do not allow the dual degree holders.

Also the placement opportunities for the btech are more as compared to the dual degree candidate.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
