what if I get low percentage in board and still I want to take admission in nit and iit. what should I do?

Hey there,

well if your board aggregate percentage is less than 75%(all subjects),then you are not eligible for admission for NIT,IIT even if you get maximum rank in IIT-JEE MAINS,but don't worry if you want an NIT then give the improvement BOARD exam and prepare for MAINS  as well .

First of all congratulations ,70% is anyway better for a student but as you said for IIT you need 75% then in that case you can go for improvement exams. You can give exam for particular subject or if you want then go for full improvement exams and

Admission in IITs is it through advanced examination , now to be eligible for writing JEE advanced you need to first qualify JEE Mains.

Hey,

According to the new rules you don't need to secure 75% in your class 12th , you just need to pass your 12th boards with minimum passing marks.

Last year IIT Bombay for computer science and engineering was most considered and ISM Dhanbad had the lowest closing rank. Some other IITs for computer science are IIT Delhi, IIT Madras and IIT kanpur.

3. JEE advanced score (for IIT)
4. No. Of attempts

For admission to NITs, IITs, candidates must have secured at least aggregate 75% (65% for SC ST PwD) marks in 12th or must be in top 20 percentile
