If you can afford then you can live outside as a Day Scholar's or if you live nearby the college then you can opt for living in home.

Your gate score seems to be enough to fetch a seat in structural engineering at IIT roorkee. You may even apply at higher IITs and PSUs.
Last year the cutoff for Civil engineering was 56. So, you are above par.
