Hello,

I think you question is either incomplete or you made mistake while writing.

IIT is only for engineering and technology. It has no relation to any other stream. To take admission you have to appear both jee main and jee advance with a rank less than 3000.

Last year the closing category rank for st  candidates for admission in IIT Bombay in the final round of counseling were 635 and 650 for B.Tech and B.S courses respectively.

Yes you can appear for JEE exams.But do keep in mind that diploma candidates are not eligible for get admission in NITS and other colleges that offer admission through jee mains score. Diploma candidate can only get admission in IITs so if you can crack jee mains and then

With the percentile that you have got, your rank according to the rank predictor assuming you to be in general category is expected to be around 1,11,233. You can calculate the rank using the formula:

((100 - your percentile) × total no. Of students)/100

If you want to do B.tech then unfortunately you cant because jee advance is the inky way.But if you want to do other courses in IITs like B.Sc, Designing, Management etc then exams like IIT JAM, CAT, UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design), CEED(Common Entrance Exam for Design)
