CSE - within 100
Chemical engg - within 4000
Civil engg - within 5000
Electrical engg - within 1000
Mechanical - within 3000
Metallurgical engg - within 6000

The closing rank last year for admission in IIT Bombay for open seats was 1290 for B.Tech courses while it was 5649 for B.S.courses.
Therefore you should score a rank in this range or  above to secure a seat in IIT Bombay.
