As you have said that you are under top 20 percentile but you are not getting percentage upto 75%. The 75% criteria is for the CBSE/ICSE boards students but the top 20 percentile is the criteria for the state board students. So you can judge from your board

Hello aspirant!!! It is required that a candidate must atleast score 65 percentage ( for sc category students) in boards to be eligible for josaa counselling through which the admission for IIT takes place. So unfortunately you wouldn't get a seat in iit . You can check the eligibility criteria

Dont drop 1 more year for engineering in India it isnt worth it, you should take admission in Hit Haldia IT branch it is a decent college and one of the oldest in West bengal you should definately go for it and after that do masters from a good
