Hey,
to keep it simple, IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology, while IIIT stands for Indian Institute of Information Technology.
Admission into IIIT is done through entrance examination called JEE Main , while for admission into IIT, candidates have to clear the second step of JEE Advanced as well.
Yes, you are eligible to appear for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced(if you clear mains). But, note that you will not be admitted into any engineering colleges through your JEE Main rank (like NITs, IIITs etc). You will only be admitted in IITs if you clear your JEE Advanced cutoff
Hello anurag,
The pre decided cutoff for EWS category is 31.5%. So it crossponds to 117 marks. Sonce you have 108 marks you may not qualify jee advanced. And qualifying jee advanced does not mean that you will get IITs. You need good rank to be in IITs.
Thank you.
