It is very difficult to get a seat in the IIT's especially the top ones which include Mumbai, Delhi , Chennai etc.

According to me if you had given jee advance so you can not from general category because you would be from general category you could not give exam by 74percent in Board so it's mean your category is sc/st so if you cleared jee advance so you can get seats
Hello,there is two category basically,HS(Home State) and OS(other state).This is a major factor in getting an admission in to NITs and IIITs but there is no such category in IIT.They don't bother about which state you are from.I hope you get it.

Sorry to say but you will not get either NIT or IIT. The eligibility criteria is minimum 60 percent marks in each of physics and chemistry and maths.

As for your question, you have a good chance of being selected for admission in IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur the chance for electrical is lesser. Also, you might be able to get IIT Bombay as its Electrical Engineering is slightly less preferred in comparison to Kanpur.
