Dear Srishti, there is not separate cutoff of any state board for IITs you have to first clear jee mains then you have to clear jee advance then you get admission in IITs colleges. But if you have exceptionally well marked in board exam you get some well govt colleges

The general eligibility criteria is 75% in boards examination of standard XIIth.
However, if you are in your top 20 percentile of your board, you are eligible to get admission in an IIT or a NIT. So you have to make sure you clear either of the criterion

as per last year data, Chemical Engineering in IIT Bombay closed at exactly 1721 for GENERAL CATEGORY. This is the correct and exact number.

It mostly depends on where your interests like, if you want to be an IITian so desperately, you can take a drop year for it. But if you are okay with not being one, it doesn't really matter at the end.
