Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad
Hello Student
Use any of the documents like be your BE marks obtained or total marks or Grade Point with other documents you should submit with the application form and you should fill up any of the documents in the prescribed column of the application form. In my view it will be better to use theGrade point in the respective application form whenever you fill up the application form of IITH M tech course
This will help.
Hello Aspirant.
Hope you are doing well.
There are very less chances of you to get the admission in the seat. But the cut off varies every year so maybe you'll get the admission because cut off depends upon various numbers of factors such as the difficulty level of exams, no of candidates, etc. But the cut off for the reserved category is comparatively low than the cut off of unreserved category.
GOOD LUCK, STAY MOTIVATED AND HOPE THIS HELPS.
Thankyou.
Hello,
IIT Hyderabad selects students on the basis of JEE MAINS exam and JEE ADVANCED Exam. After qualifying, JEE MAINS, you can give JEE ADVANCED. Only after clearing JEE ADVANCED, you can get a seat in IIT Hyderabad. The JEE MAIN exam is going to be held nearly towards the 4th week of February 2022.
Hope your doubts are cleared. Thank you. To know more, check the link:

There is no special admission criterion for admission into iith for diploma students though you can get admission in iith but you wll have to give jee advanced for that and for that you will have to be eligible for jee advanced by fulfilling all criterions whichever applicable one more thing you can do is to complete your btech from some other college and then do a mtech from iith through gate exam
You should wait patiently for further rounds of counselling it is not compulsory that you will get a seat in round 1 only hence you should wait for further rounds and if your rank is apt enough to get you a preparatory seat so you will definitely get it maybe after some rounds of counselling also seat allotment depends on you choice filling as well so make sure you have filled choices in the best possible way.
First of all in jee advanced marks are displayed and not percentile so first you should provide correct information secondly if 90 percentile is your jee main percentile then you should know that iit hyderabad takes admission based on jee advanced and not jee main ranks coming to cutoffs for pwd quota so this year about 159 pwd rank was able to get a seat so you can treat this as a reference.
As far as I know undergraduate admissions in iit hydeabad can only be taken from jee advanced ranks there is no other option to be eligible for jee advanced you should clear jee main and then if you clear jee advanced you will have to sit in josaa counselling thereafter if you have the required rank you will get admission.
It depends on the companies policy only if they are willing to hire students from metallurgy department then obviously you can sit in their placements but if they don't then you can not do anything though many tech companies do allow students from all branches but many do not as well so if you are going to join metallurgy then think and join accordingly although you will get a great coding culture in iit hyderabad also you may go for off campus placements as well.
It depends on whether the iit you want is providing the preparatory course this year for the desired branch or not. Based on your rank you may most probably get a seat in the iits you mentioned but a seat in artificial intelligence will have to be seen as it depends whether it is providing the preparatory course or not.
IIT Hyderabad is an excellent institution, but its placement record in engineering is dismal. Because most students choose higher education, physics isn't very excellent. Engineering physics, unlike conventional engineering disciplines, is not restricted to a single field of science or physics. Looking at the same placement records are also not that great. The average CTC one can easily grab in 30 LPA but the job opportunities available are in varied fields like in applied physics for a selected specialty such as optics , quantum physics , materials science , applied mechanics , nanotechnology , microfabrication , mechanical engineering , biophysics , control theory , aerodynamics , energy ), solid-state physics .
Hope this helps.
