Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad
Hello
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, jee main is not enough to get any IIT. you should have to qualify jee advanced. Do work hard and should focus on achieving high and high in entrance exam it totally depends upon the examination if paper is simple then cutoff goes high gradually and if paper or examination is hard then cutoff goes down. You should certainly work hard and should try to achieve high and high in examination.
Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.
Hi, if you are not sure of metallurgy and material science that this is what you want to do for the rest of your life than it is advised to not take up a branch that is very specialized. You can opt for more open branches like Mechanical, CS, IT. Chemical Engineering has a huge demand when it comes for Job opportunities. It would be a safer option than to go for Metallurgy and material Science. If you think that the new IIT you got Mechanical in is going to bloom over the years than it is fine. If you think that the value of that IIT won't be that much you can ignore. If you are ready to compromise with the IITs you wish to get in then you can choose Chemical or Mechanical. Below is the link for you to compare your colleges and it will help you narrow down your choices.

Hi
This is not easy as cut off keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like
----------) number of students that appeared in the jee advanced exam,
----------) kind of marks obtained by them ,
----------) toughness level of the examination ,
----------) number of seats available for the branch you want etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then ,
>>>>>>>> with 7000 obc rank in jee advanced
As per round 6 of josaa counselling, 2020 ,
You have low chance for civil engineering in IIT Hyderabad
For example,
in 6th round of josaa counselling 2020,closing rank for civil engineering in IIT Hyderabad for OBC category gender female was 5224 obc rank
For civil engineering,
You have chances in following IITs :-
Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar
Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar
Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad
And a few more,
You can check the same at

Hello aspirant,
Both the colleges were regarded as India's best engineering institute. You can choose any branch according to your interest.
I'm describing both the institution for the respective branch recent placements records, hope it will help you to make a better decision;
IIT MADRAS - Electrical Engineering -> Almost 80% of students get placements from EE branch yearly. The highest package received in the year 2018-19 is 39LPA. You can expect an average package around 10LPA from the recruiters. The companies which have visited the campus for placements were Flipkart, Huawei, Intel, Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Samsung, etc.
For more information regarding the college, you can visit the link given below,

IIT HYDERABAD - AI & ML Engineering -> As AI Engineering were included in IIT Hyderabad course recently so I didn't find any previous placements records. Well, you will get a good placement with a handsome package. That is sure. As AI is on trend now every new gadgets is working or will be working with AI in future. So in the field there is a good scope ahead.

Hello,
Firstly NITs are better than IITe right. So placement are better in IITs. Then comparing IITH has signed numerous national and international MoUs with corporates and universities for collaboration on academic and professional fronts. Classrooms are top-notch. The library is still in the construction period. Hostel facilities are good. The cleanliness, quality it serves is up to the mark. Personal rooms with sharing are there. Every facility is available for students. Canteen, supermarket etc.
Now NIT Trichy has better placements and internships as compared to Hyderabad. 80-90% of students get placed in different domains. Companies like L&T, Cantilever, PSUs, etc., come for placements. The highest package offered was 17 LPA, and the lowest package was 6 LPA. 15-30% of students got internships.
Finally you go for NIT Trichy is better for internships and jobs offers.
Hope this helps!!
Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:
The preference order you should consider is:
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet. More reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.

Hi,
In my opinion you should go for IIIT Hyderabad.
Some points comparing IIIT H with IIT H are :-
l IITH is relatively quite new, so it doesn’t have that reputation as the old IITs have, and secondly the campus is not fully build one might be a little hazed in opting for IITH.
l The reputation of IIITH is more than the current reputation of IITH. In academics terms as well as in terms of nurturing people for competitive aspects like ACM ICPC and GSOC IIITH is way ahead than IITH.
l This post of mine didn’t seem biased till the I mention I am a IIITian and I have felt all the difference.
l IIITH’s CSE is at par the level of IITB/IITD’s CSE. IITH is also a very good college. If you choose IITH, you will get IIT tag. But IIITH also has its own reputation. One of the top startups in Sillicon Valley, Pocket Gems came to india to hire only IIITH CSE Students. Apple come to India for the recruitment, and they first hired from IIITH.
l I think you also aware of the fact that IIITH CSE Syllabus is some how better than IITs CSE Syllabus. You don't have to study Science Subjects, mechanics, Engineering Drawing in IIITH. You have to study CSE Subjects from 1st year onwards.
l Also IIITH’s Coding Culture is famous. Their coding assignment is way more different and difficult than any other engineering colleges in India. Every year they Consistently produce ACM ICPC World Finalists. The selection in GSOC is also way more than any other engineering colleges in India.
l Recently a student from IIITH selected to work in Bell Labs. Also if you interested in Competitive Coding, this is the best place you can look for.The average salary in IIITH is above 20 lpa. So if you really interested in CSE, wanna excel in Competitive Coding or GSOCs, then you should select IIITH over IITH.
Hope this helps.
All the Best.
