Indian Institute of Technology Indore
Hi there.
According to the census , IIT indore is new and hence the companies that visit are less as compared to others.
But as you know that IIT is always good than NIIT . but this totally depends upon you.
As if you get an IIT than its not necessary for you to go for placement. As you can get a job anyway. So if you go by fame , then IIT is best .
Hello Charan,
If we talk about MTech specialisation in communication and signal processing then IITs are really fabulous choices to go for and as you are getting a choice between IIT Indore and IIT Dhanbad then I would recommended going for IIT Indore as it's electronics department as well as the specialisation is really upto mark same as IIT Dhanbad. But the overall rankings and subsequent placements are good in IIT Indore not by any significant difference but with a minimal change than IIT Dhanbad. But the final decision is yours to make. Hope it helped.
Thanks for A2A brother
Firstly, congratulations for your decent performance in JEE advanced. Also, it is good to see that you are clear with the branch and just concerning of the placement record.
So regrading this
1. Infra - IIT Indore > ISM Dh as IIT Indore being a newer campus, so better hostel facility and better classroom infra though ISM infra is also improving and many projects have undertaken recently to improve the existing facilities.
2. Placement - IIT Indore > ISM Dhanbad
Thank You
Hello,
IITs have always been achieving excellence and providing the best education to the students right from the when it was established. One of these is IIT Indore which was established in Madhya Pradesh by the Government of India in the year of 2009,
Now for your kind information IIT Indore does not have the Production and Industrial Engineering curriculum.
Production and Industrial Engineering(M.Tech) is a two year post graduation course in the field of industrial engineering.
The IITs which provide admissions for this department is:-
IIT Bombay
IIT Kharagpur
IIT Delhi
IIT Chennai
Among them as per reviews IIT Delhi can be a good institute to study for production and industrial engineering.
Thank you.
Hey Shaifali
The cut offs do change every year for IIT JAM. For you subject as chemistry this year the closing rank for first round is AIR 305. For the third round it is 318 i.e there is not much difference in the first and the final round. For opening and closing ranks of other IITs you may look for the below link

Well certainly one might think that IIT Indore is a new institute as compared to NIT Surathkal which has proved decades of excellence. But the thing is IIT Indore is one of the fastest growing institutes in the country and the best new IIT among all others. So i guess IIT Indore can be preferred over NIT Surathkal.
Hello there,
The Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), formerly Govindram Seksaria Technological Institute(GSTI) is a public engineering institution located in Indore.
Last year the closing rank for Computer Science in SGSITS was around 20k. Sorry with 120000 rank you can't get admission in GSITS or any government college so you should go for private colleges.
All the best
