hi, my CRL is 4727 in which IIT i can get admission.

Kumari Ankita 14th Jun, 2019
Hello,
Congratulations on your rank!
According to 2018 cutoffs, with a rank of 4727, you can get Electrical engineering, Electronics and communication engineering at IIT Dhanbad. At IIT Bombay, you can get 4-year B.S. in Chemistry, 5-year B.tech+M.tech in Environmental science and engineering. At IIT Delhi, you can get 4-year B.tech Textile Technology. At IIT Goa, you can get Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering. Please note that this prediction is completely based on 2018 cutoffs. Also, take care of the fact that cutoffs can vary from year to year depending upon factors like number if seats available, number of students appearing for the examination, difficulty level of the paper etc.
I hope it helps. For any further queries regarding this, ask me in the comments.
All the best!!!

IIT Indore Metallurgy or NIT Trichy Metallurgy which option is best?

adyasamohanty611_9299468 Student Expert 14th Jun, 2019

Hi Aspirant

This is one of the toughest choice that an aspirant has to make during JEE counseling.

NIT Trichy is one of the oldest NITs of the nation where as IIT Indore is a 2008 generation IIT , so in terms of alumni network you will get it better in NIT Trichy.

But IIT Indore is one of the fastest growing IIT right now, so you will get a lot of opportunities as well.

So you will have to weigh between these two and see which suits you better along with the location benefits.

Hope this helps. All the Best.

Hello Aspirant,

With this percentile the chances are less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs etc. You can try for the state level colleges for the admission. To know your state level admission possibilities in state level counselling, You can use JEE Main College Prdeictor tool with the given below link.

Can i take admission in IIT.i got b.tech 58% and i am mechanical engineering but i am preparing XE branch gate exam

Jesin J 8th May, 2019
Hello Mukesh. Yes,  you can write GATE with XE branch into order to get into IIT. You can get into M. Tech or Phd course with the XE branch in IIT. However, you cannot apply for psu with GATE score having XE as the branch. Moreover, every IITs also have their individual criterion for XE branch along with the GATE score. So before applying for GATE with XE, just go through those criterion in the respective sites of IITs.

Thus, even though you are a Mechanical Engineer, you can get into IIT with XE branch in GATE.

All the best.
