I am sharing with you the eligibility criteria and admission process of IIT Kharagpur for MTech in food processing.
Eligibility criteria is that you must have passed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/M.Sc or equivalent professional degrees (AMIE etc.) and having a valid GATE score.
Fields like Food Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc are not that much package wise best as we used to hear about the field such as CSE, Electrical etc. So its discouraging yet true that the packages of BTech in Agriculture & Food Technology at IIT KGP, will not be

See it is difficult to determine before cut-offs changes from year to year and may depend on many factors.
You must have minimum 60 percentage if you belong to general category and 55 percentage
