If you want to secure a minimum mark to secure to get into NIT, Patna that is approx 150 out of 360. But, it's procedure has been changed already because national council has decided that admission will be done through the entrance exam of NTA that is known as National Testing Agency.

If you want to join colleges out of them I'll suggest iit dhanbaad out of them for cse. It has got a well structured atmosphere for cse. You will find advanced coder both in professors and in students. But other iits mentioned is also good it's your choice what to choose.

This college is approved by UGC and accredited by naac. UG courses offered in this college are CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, INF,  ME, CHE, CIV, Metallurgy engineering,architecture engineering, power engineering and more. By qualifying in either NATA, JEE MAIN, GATE, WBJEE you can get admission in this college for PG or UG. There will be 11:1 students to faculty ratio. IIT BHU CSE would be the best compared to IIT PATNA CSE based on many factors-

1)Coding Culture : The coding culture here(IIT BHU) is just awesome. You can find non cse students coding in a good level. So you can imagine the level of CSE students.

2) Codefest: It is the annual technical fest of IIT BHU which draws the attention of lakhs of people. Students from all over the world compete for solving questions and algos.

3) Senior - Junior Interaction : There is a saying in English that we remember a lot when we do it practically and along with friends. Here the seniors aren't your seniors , they are your friends who guide you in a right manner. You may fear for the professors or you may not understand them but you will definitely understand seniors.

4)Intern Opportunities : Many companies do visit the campus to give interns to students in 3rd year(common everywhere) , but the companies visiting matters. You can find many reputed companies.Many students work for startups taking it as a challenge to develop them. Self development is a lot.

5) Placements : The placements here are quite good (in fact excellent) with average placement package of Rs. 26L/year (excludes foreign placements) . IIT BHU ranked no.1 in GO(Graduation Outcome) by MHRD

The allotment of college is done on the time of admission. When you'll be taking the admission and completing the documentation process, they will allot you hostel at that time only. You can occupy the same when you join the college before the starting of session.

It will not affect much if you have filled your correct name and all other details. If asked by IIT Patna officials show them the transaction id if SBI Collect and also your personal ID and say to them that you have filled your birthdate wrong by mistake.

Hope you are doing well. As per your query their is no certain time as it changes from semester to semester. It is basically the 10th of the particular month and if you are late you have to pay fine and if you are asking about admission fee then the last date will be given to you by the college authorities itself. When the college is allotted to you, you have to report there and confirm your willingness to the seat. After that all the documents will be verified and the admission process continues. Then you have to submit the fees after that.

There may be a date bracket or you have to pay the fees at the time of registration.
