The allotment of college is done on the time of admission. When you'll be taking the admission and completing the documentation process, they will allot you hostel at that time only. You can occupy the same when you join the college before the starting of session.

It will not affect much if you have filled your correct name and all other details. If asked by IIT Patna officials show them the transaction id if SBI Collect and also your personal ID and say to them that you have filled your birthdate wrong by mistake.

Hope you are doing well. As per your query their is no certain time as it changes from semester to semester. It is basically the 10th of the particular month and if you are late you have to pay fine and if you are asking about admission fee then the last date will be given to you by the college authorities itself. After that you may receive it with in a weak. Nowadays these can be apply online. You can get online the same.

When the college is allotted to you, you have to report there and confirm your willingness to the seat. After that all the documents will be verified and the admission process continues. Then you have to submit the fees after that.

There may be a date bracket or you have to pay the fees at the time of registration.

Both of the colleges you provided are amazing and have great placements and faculty no doubt. But if you have to make a choice between them then go for MNIT Allahabad.  The course fees for MNIT is comparatively lower than that of IIT patna for btech. Even though the fees structure is low the placements are amazing and is higher than that of IIT Patna. Also seats offered in MNIT is more than IIT patna.

2. IIT Patna

• Average Package (CSE)- 14.53 LPA
• Major Recruiters- Amazon, Goldman-Sachs, Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc.

3. NSIT, Delhi

• Average Package (CSE)- 12-14 LPA
• Major Recruiters- Amazon, Goldman-Sachs, Microsoft, Airtel, Adobe, etc.
