Hi. The form asks for class 12 marksheet and the last day to fill the form is 8th may. Class 12th results will be declared on 13th may.

Hi aspirant
There is one thing that you can do, it is that you can ask the officials and check if they accept your pre boards result or can accept an expected result certificate from your school and give you conditional admission.
This is possible in some institutes but you should confirm it particularly.
Good Luck !!!

Qhich is better as a UG programme "B.sc or B.tech"???

Gavanksha Student Expert 20th Apr, 2019

Hello aspirant,

A Bachelor of Science is an undergraduate academic degree awarded for completed courses that generally last three to five years, or a person holding such a degree. You may pursue B.Sc in a particular subject like computer science, Physics, mathematics, Information technology, etc. The course is also beneficial for students who wish to pursue multi and inter-disciplinary science careers in future.

A Bachelor of Technology is an undergraduate academic degree awarded after completion of a four-year or even a five-year program of studies at an accredited university. B.tech is considered to be a skill-oriented course. You may get college placements and a job after a college.

A choice of a carrier field totally depneds on one's interest. There is scope in every field of interest. I hope my information helps you. You may ask any other related query in the comment section.

Thank you!!

As per the official, TMI has approval to admit 120 candidates for the Diploma in Nautical Science (IMU) leading to B.Sc. Applied Nautical Science (IMU). TMI accepts only company sponsored candidates for admision in the IMU programme.

Though any registered shipping company can sponsor candidates for the DNS programme, following companies normally sponsor candidates at TMI:

what would be better diploma or engineering in marine or nautical sci ? like is there something difference in package or placement ?

Jeevesh 3rd Apr, 2019

Bachelors degree is always better than a diploma in any field, for Growth & Promotion.

If you choose a diploma in Nautical Science then you can be a Marine Engineering Instructor, Operations Manager, Training Navigating Officer, Lecturer & Marine Engineer.

so your package will be around 5lacs to 10lacs per annum.

If you do a bachelors degree then Deck Officer, Nautical Surveyor, Scuba Diver, Marine Superintendent.

Packages will range from 8 lacs to 15 Lacs per annum.

I personally suggest you consult a working marine person to get the best advice in today's scenario.
