According to their cirrculum, for admission in numerous UG courses, there is an acceptance of the compartment/improvement marks with minimum eligibilty. The eligibility criteria are Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects or H.S.C vocational examination. BBOSE, is a registered Govt. Society under Societies Act. It is an Open & Distance Learning Institution, set up on the lines of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

Yes, absolutely. You can apply for IMU CET. The only thing you need to remember is to apply for Passport before you apply for this exam and you must have 60% in +2 PCM and 50% marks in English. Satisfying these conditions will make you eligible for IMU CET exam.

As you should know that the bihar board of open schooling is a vaild board and there is nothing that will be restricted for you in future either it's an entrance exam or some job vacany exam.

The Chennai center of Indian Maritime University does not provide any course in Naval architecture. While the Mumbai center provides a 4-year undergraduate course - B.Tech. in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. The total fee is around 9 lakh and the available number of seats is 20. The eligibility states that a candidate must have passed 10+2/equivalent (PCM-60% and the minimum of 50% marks in the english subject in 10th/12th Examination).

Indian Maritime University conducts it's own entrance test termed as IMU-CET. On the basis of performance in this test admission is offered. Application portal is still open to apply for IMU-CET. Exams will be held in first week of june. Marine engineering is a new branch with unexplored opportunities you can definitely go for it
