Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test is a national level entrance exam. The exam is conducted in online mode.Eligibility Criteria to appear for the IMU CET 2019 is as follows-- Candidates belonging to the General category should be of minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years of age as on August 1, 2019.Relaxation in the age limit is given to candidates belonging to the reserved categories. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories should be given maximum five years age relaxation.- Candidates are required to have passed class 12th examination with 60 percent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and atleast 50 percent marks are required to be scored by the candidate in English.Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will be provided relaxation in the aggregate marks. However, no relaxation would be provided to the candidate in English.Apart from the Education Qualification and Age Limit, there are certain other criteria also such as medical fitness, eyesight which candidates should fulfill to be eligible.
IMU C ET exam is conducted in Online mode. Duration of the exam is three hours and medium of the examination is English. Multiple Choice Questions are asked in the exam and there are total number of 200 questions. The registration process for IMU CET will start in the First week of April 2019. And the Final date to fill and submit the application form of IMU CET 2019 will be in the Second week of May 2019. There is no provision for submission of late form or fees provided as of now. Hence it would be advisable to submit the form within the time period given. To be eligible to take admission in IMU CET you need atleast minimum aggregate marks of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th boards and Atleast 50% marks in English. Hence you'd be able to take the test and get admission only if your score atleast more than 60% and not with 54%.
