Hello Riya,
IMU CET is the reduced form of Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test. It is conducted by Indian Maritime University for admission of the suitable candidates to Undergraduate (except BBA), Post Graduate and Research programmes.
For B.Tech (Marine Engineering) and B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering) the eligibility criteria is -
Passed Class 12 (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subject with minimum 60% average) or equivalent. Obtained 50% aggregate in English subject in Class 10 and Class 12.
SC/ST candidates will get relaxation of 5% but it is not applicable to the English marks.
For this particular course the average score of PCM is 60% and you scored 59.9% so my suggestion would be you should apply and wait for the confirmation by the officials.
For BSc (Ship Building and Repair) the eligibility criteria is -
Passed Class 12 (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subject with minimum 50% average) or equivalent. Obtained 50% aggregate in English subject in Class 10 and Class 12.
For BBA (Logistics, Retailing and eCommerce) the eligibility criteria is -
