Should we add our practical exam marks in physics and chemistry of 12th grade in the Indian navy application??

Hey!

Yes, you need to add your practical marks with your theory/subject marks to get total score out of 100 in a particular subject in 12th class. You can also check your 12th class scoresheet, there must be a column of theory, column of practical marks and then the addition of two, total marks. You can mention total marks in the application form.

Hello,

Candidates who wish to apply for Indian Coast Guard Yantrik must be between 18 to 22 years of age. However, candidates who belongs to SC/ST or OBC category gets upper age relaxation. As you are not yet 18 you are not eligible for Coast Guard. Once you reach the age of 18 you will be eligible for coast guard. Candidates should have passed class 10 or its equivalent and they must also hold a diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/Power) engineering with at least 60/% in aggregate are eligible to apply for Indian Coast Guard Yantrik

hello student,

There are 2 ways to join in Indian Navy

1. NDA & NA Examination : You can join NA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission ( UPSC ). This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout India.


Eligibility Criteria


Age – 16 ½ to 19 years(at the time of commencement of course)


Nationality – Indian


Gender – Men only


Educational Qualifications – 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Appearing final year students can also eligible to apply.


Advertisement Schedule –  May and December. (Advertisement is released by UPSC. Visit www.upsc.gov.in )


The second way to join In Indian navy is


2. 10+2 B.tech Cadet Entry:


Age: 17 to 19½ years .


Educational Qualification: Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent from University/Board with at least 70 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).


How to apply : One can directly apply online from nausena – bharti .nic.in , selection for SSB Interview based on the cut off percentage decided by Indian Navy.

Here's the eligibility criteria listed below :

Age Limit (as on July 1 of the year of admission) -
19 to 25 year.


SSC (Logistics) eligibility criteria : (i) BE/B. Tech in any discipline/ B. Architecture with First Class or (ii) MBA with First Class or (iii) B.Sc. / B.Com / B.Sc.(IT) with first class and a PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management /Material Management or (iv) MCA / M.Sc. (IT) [Minimum Percentage of 60%] or Chartered Accountancy.

Height and Weight : Minimum acceptable height 152 cms, weight 38.6 kgs.

To become Navy officer you have to clear CDS exam conducted by UPSC. This exam happens twice a year (June and December). Here officer gets appointed as a permanently commissioned (PC) officer or as a  Short Service Commission (SSC) officer.

Permanently commissioned (PC) officer means till retirement

Short Service Commission (SSC) officer means officer for 10yrs and can be extended to 14yrs and also have the option for permanent commission.

Eligibility - 1) 12th passed or equivalent with science or mathematics (60%)

2) B.sc passed with 60%

3) BE or B.tech with 65% from recognized AICTE

Hello aspirant

You can join Indian Navy if you fulfill the eligibility criteria for it. Online applications are being invited from candidates.

You must have following requirements

Martial status - unmarried make candidates are eligible

Education - candidates must have qualified  10+2 examination with maths and physics and at least one of the following subjects chemistry/ biology/ computer science

Age limit - candidates must be between age of 16 to 20 years

Physical fitness - It includes 1.6 km running to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups and 10 push ups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do at their own risk.

Proficiency in sports, swimming and extra curricular activities is desirable

Yes , you can serve under SSC Logistics Cadre.A PG diploma in finance/logistics/supplychain management or material management to become eligible to serve under this branch will be beneficial. Other than logistics services you may try under IT services too upon completing MCA or MSc IT with 1st class. Anyways for you to get a better idea regarding the same , I suggest you to visit the official website of Indian Navy and checkout the careers and jobs option. Under the 'Careers and Jobs' option , you will see an 'Am I Eligible' option . Upon clicking that you will be asked to enter all you educational details and you will be shown all the posts you are eligible for based on what you enter.

Can I join Indian Navy after 2 years of diploma in mechanical ?

Hello aspirant.

You can apply for the Indian Navy after 2 years of your diploma by writing the NDA exam. To get into Army the candidate must have the following qualifications.

You have to complete the 12th or equivalent in any trade from a recognized central or state education board.

One can only apply for NDA after completion of the diploma course, and the candidate must be an Indian citizen.
