Indian students
hello aspirant,
the top 3 countries for persuing MBBS for indian students are-
hope that helps
It depends on which factors you are considering while comparing both.
If you compare academically, then of-course MBBS from India stands a good position.
But, there are a lot of other factors too which decides whether Studying MBBS is good in India or abroad.
Lets take them one by one-
Cost
INDIA
If you get admission in a government college, then congratulation, you will be completing your MBBS in a really low cost.
But, if you take admission in a private college, then your total fess is range between 60 Lakhs to as high as 1.5 crores for full course.
ABROAD
The cost of MBBS depends on the country you choose for MBBS.
If you choose a good medical college in Russia for example, then your full MBBS is gonna cost you somewhere between 20 to 30 lakhs.
If you choose other English speaking countries, then it will cost you in crores and unless you have a lot of extra money, it is not worth it to spend this much just on your MBBS.
You have to do your PG also after that.
Safety
Lets talk about ragging first- I know that it has stopped in a lot of colleges, but still you can hear news every year about it. You can even search that by yourself later.
Raging in foreign countries is strictly prohibited. If any student is found doing so, he will be rusticated from the university no matter in which year he/she is.
Also, a lot of people think think that foreign countries are not safe, but this is just a myth.
I can walk on the streets at 2am and still feel secure. I have seen local girls completely alone roaming freely.
So safety is not a problem particularly for foreign people.
Student-Professor ratio
I don't think I need to tell you how how less the professors are for such large number of students in India.
But, in abroad, the student-professor ratio is just 16:1. That means, there are only 16 students in each class per 1 teacher.
This helps the professor to focus on each student individually.
Athletics
This is one of the thing I like about foreign universities. We even a Physical education as a compulsory subject. We cannot skip the class and we do we have clear it later on.
The university even given opportunity to foreign students participate in inter-state competitions.
When I was in school and wished to participate in a competition, they always asked whether you played earlier on a state level.
I mean how can I play on State level unless they give me the opportunity to at least play at school level.
Thats why I like my foreign, they give me chance to play based on my skills and not on my previous achievements.
Student life
I have written a complete answers about my life abroad, you can read and compare it with the student life in India. You yourself will get the answer.

Hey Naveen
There are thousands of applicants who apply for admission in Carnegie Mellon University out of which many are Indian. It would be difficult to mention background of every Indian student who applied for admission but one can provide an overview upon the same:
For Admission in Masters
For Undergraduate Admissions:
Note: The most important and crucial part of the admission which is common in both levels is Statement of Purpose and Essays which explains in detailed why you deserve to be a student of CMU.
Also above mentioned background are not the definite ones but are common to most of the appearing students
The fees will be different in different colleges. But the approximate idea that I can give you is the figure will be roughly between 40,000 AUD to 50,000 AUD. University of New South Wales has the highest fees which is 66,000 AUD and James Cook University has 45,000 AUD.
Best wishes. Thank you.
Hey Dhanashri
Massachusetts Institute of Technology does not provide a specific central Financial Aid/Scholarships for students aspiring for Graduate programs (Masters).
To get a financial aid, you need to personally contact the particular Department in which you want to study and ask them for aid. That also depends on the field you want to pursue and your extraordinary performance in the past. To get Scholarships you may seek for Fellowships, might get a part time job to pay the fees or Student's loan
