Admission to only certain courses in IGNOU is done through entrance tests such as BEd, BSc Nursing, MBA etc, admission to Master of Art courses aren't done through entrance test, you just need to pass graduation from a recognized university, and if the course has certain other criteria for instance having studied specific subjects at ug level, then perhaps you have to meet the criteria, other than this when application forms are released you can fill up the form, provide academic and personal details, upload scanned documents(as per requirement), and scanned photo, signature, you will have to pay the requisite fee, and take a print out of few copies for the form for future references, you'll be informed about the admission status within few days/weeks depending upon the regional centre, you can visit the official website of IGNOU at ignou.nic.in for more details regarding this.

Yes, you can get Scholarships after taking admissions. IGNOU offers Scholarships to SC/ST, Economically Weaker Section and Single Girl Child. There are various norms for getting Scholarships, so you have to look through for the Eligibility Criteria. Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, conducts their own Entrance Exam for admission in various Courses which they offer! This exam will be conducted twice a year. The Application Form will be released by the Last Week of January and the exam will be conducted by the Last Week of April. Admission will start in May or June.

IGNOU closed application form for July 2020 session recently. Last date for admission in the July 2020 admission cycle was extended till 31st December 2020. There is no announcement of schedule for upcoming session. However, the institute will release application form for December 2020 session. You will be able to submit the application form of IGNOU online at ignou.ac.in.

Hello, you should select BSC option and not honors since honors is a more specialized course and also Bsc general includes major courses too.
