Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that as per last year cutoffs, maximum cutoff for Outside Delhi General went upto 5700. So, according to last year cutoffs, there might be less chances of getting a college in top 10 ranks. Still, you should not lose hope as there are always chances of cutoffs getting lower depending on the competition this year.

Seat Allotment Result (in every round):

1. After a choice filling period, the seat will be allotted on the basis of merit and respective category and region.
2. Candidates must check the result form the candidate’s login account from the official website.
3. If seat will be allotted to the candidates, then they can print the provisional seat allotment letter.
4. Candidates will have to pay Rs. 40, 000/- to confirm their seats as a part of academic fee.
5. Print the part academic fee details in the stipulated time period.

Freezing of Allotted Seat (after every round):

1. After allotting the seats, if candidates will be not satisfied with the allotted seat and do not want to participate in the further counselling rounds, then they will be able to freeze their seat by selecting the ‘freeze’ option.
2. If the candidate will do not freeze the allotted seat, then they will be allotted with the next higher preference automatically in the next round.

Hi Gulshan, congratulations on scoring that much percentage in your class 12th. For UG programmes in Indraprastha University you need only 60% in your (10+2).

As IPU has more than 93 colleges so every college has its own cut off and rank. In addition to this, your admission is highly depend on your category . There is huge difference in ranks and cut-off for various categories  (SC,ST,OBC,EWS,PWD,Defence).

Also,IPU reserves seats for students of Delhi Region so it will be difficult to get admission for non-Delhiites . The previous year cut-off was based on various parameters like no. of appearing candidates,total no. of seats, and the difficulty level of examination.

For this year considering all the above mentioned points you can check your possibility for getting into the college. As the cut-off list will soon release in three rounds.
