Look, full form of ews is economically weeker section.GGSIPU has seats reserved for EWS quota students. You can avail the EWS quota if your family income from all sources is not more than Rs. 2,50,000 per annum. So an income certificate will be required. 10% of the total seats are reserved for ews category. Fees of this section is around less then half of the original fees.

IPU has successfully conducted its common entrance test from 9th-14th September and GGSIU has declared its results on 8th October. Since you are a non-Delhi candidate, so some percentage of seats are reserved for the candidates who don't belong to Delhi. You need to check the cutoff lists of the last few years also which takes place in three rounds. Moreover, it provides categories region wise- for Delhi region, for outside Delhi region & for All India region. Please check the official website so that you can estimate your admission chances according to your given rank and region wise.
