It entirely depends upon your rank and ofcourse the cut off. The results are out but the cut offs are not. The cut off might be announced anytime soon. If you fall above the cut iff category then you will definitely get a chance to be in GGSIPU. You again check out the previous year cut off lists which might help you in getting an idea. Again, it changes every year, there's no guarantee there will be exact same cut off as last year.

It depends upon the cut off. Cut off varies every year depending upon the no of students appearing, qualifying, no of seats available, difficulty level of exam and last year's trends. As you haven't mentioned your category, assuming it as general.

The cut off 2019 was

Round 1 min rank was 15285 and max rank was 42615 for CS branch

For IT min rank was 42770 and max 65157

For ECE 38364 and max 100104.

This was for round 1 counseling.

So you see getting CS, IT branch it is difficult to predict. For ECE branch you have chances of getting seat in 3rd round.

So you should keep trying

General English section- 50% weightage

Literary Aptitude section- 30% weightage

General Awareness section- 20% weightage

So, yes you have to prepare for general awareness because it has 20% weightage.
