which course is better-manufacturing or industrial or geoinformatic engineering in future 2025?

Mayank Chowdhary 25th Aug, 2020

Hello,

What matters is the choice. All the courses are good but if you are interested then you will surely exceed in your field and have fun and enjoy your work. Now manufacturing field is a good choice because it includes fields like chemicals, industries, pharma, engineering, textiles, mining etc. Geoinformatics also is a creative and open field and you can work in profiles such as cartography, web mapping,Photogrammetry, remote sensing etc.

scope of industrial engineering in future 2025?

Vallika reddy 25th Aug, 2020

Hello aspirant,

The scope of Industrial engineering in India is immense.

From delivery/logistics companies to eCommerce sites to manufacturing companies to textile industrial to F.M.C.G companies everyone needs them. This is because they are responsible for the entire operations of an organization.

What comes into an organization (raw material, labour etc) to what stays in (inventory) and what goes out (finished goods) everything is controlled, managed and optimized by industrial engineers.

Industrial engineers are mainly responsible for the proper and the most efficient interaction of 4Ms: Man, Material, Machine and Method (which every organization needs). Topics like work study, time study, supply chain management, operations management which are an integral part of an industrial engineer course perfectly prove this point.

In short if you are an industrial engineer, you are like a diamond in the human resource market. There is no dearth of jobs.

Hope this helps.

Thankyou.

is it good to study industrial biotechnology in GCT coimbatore?how much cutoff is enough to join this course for this year(MBC)?

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 20th Aug, 2020

Hello

If you consider placement after completing your course in Industrial Biotechnology then this place might not be  a good option as the placements in this sector is quite low even though companies like Biocon, Shantha biotechnics limited etc come (if you are really a hardworking and meritorious student you can get placed though) . The subjects taught, methods of teaching and the faculty are great.

The closing rank according to previous year statistics is somewhere around 10700 so probably this year it will be around this too. All the best!

Hello
Industrial training refers that involves students to fabricate the new technologies and make them ready to the corporate world.
With this training you can learn new technologies which are required by the company you are gonna work.
It is also spelled as "summer internship program" where the same procedure goes on. After completing the training they will provide you with s certificate which will be used to indicate you as a best for the company.
